![]() New Macs Arrive in Arctic Village This site is being developed in conjunction with a National Science Foundation (NSF) Partnership for Innovation (PFI) Grant called Bridging the Technology Gap: A Culture Based Model for Economic Development in Rural Alaska that was awarded to Philadelphia University in the fall of 2003. The site is intended to serve as place to share information about the project with anyone who would like to learn about this 3-year endeavor as it develops. The site is maintained by Tim McGee, Director of the Master's Program in Instructional Design & Technology, who is participating in the project both as a faculty member teaching a two-course sequence in the Design and Development of Computer Based Instruction, and as a member of the MC82/84 team that will create one or more instructional modules for the rural Alaskans who participate in the grant activities.
