Real quick as it’s 3:30 out
where you are. I’m outside Los Angeles
right now and I wanted to show you a few things that I have seen over the last
six days – can you believe that there is still more to come? I’m having a great
time and wish you had some better weather out where you are. I’m thinking of
you all and will see you soon. ~Erik
On Friday – I walked on water (the Mississippi River,
in Illinois)

If anybody saw the 1989 movie “Field of Dreams” this
was the actual baseball field from the movie – and we were invited to actually
play in a game! We could only stay for a minute.

That same day we toured the actual Bridges of Madison
County…

The following day (Saturday) we made it to South Dakota and saw the Badlands National Park.
What a scene!

Oh yeah, we saw Mount Rushmore
that day too.

The following day we happened on the site of the Battle of Little Bighorn in Montana, and it happened to be the 130th
anniversary (who knew?) so … here’s what we saw!

The following day we went up into the Beartooth Mts, part of the Rockies up north, and went so high that we could play in
the snow. In June. Note the sporty OIT tee-shirt; I
had to represent Phila. U!

Also Monday, at Yellowstone
National Park, I saw “Old Faithful” and many other geysers. Amazing
things to be seen all over here.

We saw Seattle
the following day.

Wednesday was Oakland.
Here with my road-trip buddy Jonathan.

Wednesday was also San Francisco. Highly
recommended.

Wednesday was also the California
coast - and we stopped at L.A.!

This was only six days (Six days!) so there will be
plenty to show when I come back.
