Uploading Files With Frontpage

1. Open Frontpage and from the File menu choose Open Site.

2. In the Site Name box, enter http://students.philau.edu/"your username" without the quotations, so if your username was smith2, you would be typing http://students.philau.edu/smith2 for example.

3. A prompt will come up asking for your username and password. You do not need to enter "student/..." before your username.

4. To make it easy, at the bottom of the screen, you can change how your website structure is displayed. Click on Folders to display a file structure of your website.

5. There are a couple ways to upload your files. One was is to open the File menu and click on Import.

6. From here you can select individual files, or directories you with to upload. Select the files you want and then click on OK.

7. Alternatively, you can copy & paste or click and drag items from other windows into the window pane of frontpage and it will let you know the files are being uploaded.

8. To remove files from your website directory, select the file(s) you want to remove and hit the Delete key or from the Edit menu select Delete.
